Welcome to Cats In Science!

Like you, we’re a big fan of cats. We also love science.

Looking around the Internet one Sunday morning, there didn’t seem to be any science-themed cat pages out there. So we decided to start our own.

We post about all things cats in science:

  • Cats in science. Cats have inspired scientific research for centuries. Schrödinger’s cat is probably the most famous, but there are many others.
  • Scientists and their cats. Many scientists have found that their feline friends provided crucial support during their efforts. Edwin Hubble, Nikola Tesla, and Albert Einstein, to name a few.
  • Scientific facts about cats. Cats are interesting creatures, and so some humans study cats much like cats study us. When we come across some curiosities, we’ll let you know.
  • Cats with science inspired names. Pictures and videos of cats named after scientists or scientific terms. Let’s be honest: This is the true reason why we built the Internet.
